Fire Emblem: Three Houses now slated for July

Time to go back to school.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses, the next game in the popular strategy series, has a big new element mixed into its ingredients now: school. Well, the idea of “houses” and training students within them, to be more specific.

The latest FE game will put players in the boots of a professor at the Officer’s Academy, a sort of school smack dab in the middle of three lands. By selecting one of the three houses and aligning to its nation, the hero must lead and train their students through battles. Off the battlefield, the students can be recruited and relationships formed, and as their bonds grow they’ll work even stronger together.

But there’s something amiss, and as the students train they’ll learn more about the dark forces that are circling the land.

The game will finally take the series to HD when it launches on Switch in July.
