Alien capitalism is still causing problems
Oddworld Inhabitants, the developer behind the classic series, is back with the second of their planned 5-part Oddworld series. What began with New ‘N’ Tasty, itself a remake of Abe’s Oddysee, continues with Soulstorm.
The new game picks up right where New ‘N’ Tasty left off, as Abe and 300 freed Mudokons are stranded in a desert, hoping to survive. The series takes strong themes of environmentalism and survival and wraps them in a platformer, creating an experience that runs a few layers of onion skin deep.
Soulstorm arrives for “PC & consoles” in 2020.
