Nintendo surprised Legend of Zelda fans today with the reveal of a special new mode coming to its Link’s Awakening remake. The mode will allow fans the ability to create challenge dungeons based on artifacts they find in the game. It’s unclear if these dungeons can be shared or not.
The “cute” art style will also lend itself to a brand new Link amiibo that retains the look of the game.
Nintendo revealed a launch date of September 20, 2019 for Link’s Awakening, as well as a special edition, known as the Dreamer Edition, that includes the game and an art book.
