Three Houses in One Month

It’s bonkers to think that we’re just a month away from the next Fire Emblem game, what looks to be the biggest ever in the series, and we hardly know anything about it. Well, now we have plenty of that juicy sweet info.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses takes place at a prestigious officers academy. Players will choose one of three houses at the academy to lead in training. Five years later, war has erupted in the world and the same three houses are at odds with each other.

Players will have to balance battles and character relationships as the war unfolds, and tutor the students in the classroom to make them more powerful and efficient. For the first time in the series, full battalions can be assigned to the characters to create even more complex and interesting battle sequences.

During its Treehouse Live segments this week, Nintendo showed a cross section of each of these aspects of the game, from passive to aggressive.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses lands on July 26 exclusively on Switch.
