Gain XP just by looking at it
We’ve already had one insane Dragon Quest controller, arriving for the PS4 in time for the launch of Dragon Quest XI, and it looks like the Switch is getting its own version.
With DQXI dropping this year, SquareEnix has announced that it is creating a Nintendo Switch compatible Slime controller. The game, a nostalgia filled JRPG that has been rated as one of, if not *the*, best in the series follows a hero as they battle through a world filled with monsters.
One of those monsters, the Slime, has been around since the beginning of the series, and often considered one of the cutest enemies in all of gaming. They stand on the same level as Goombas, in fact.
This controller, complete with wireless BlueTooth to connect to the Switch, bears a resemblance to the Slime, so it will go down as one of the most sought-after accessories for the series’ fans.
It uses USB 3.0 to be hard-connected to the Switch to charge when not in use.
But it’s only coming to Japan. So, we hope you know someone there, or at least have a very long arm to grab one from across the pond.
