Bringing shadows back to our flat screens
Sony Pictures, Square Enix and Hivemind Entertainment the team behind the most excellent Expanse TV series) have revealed that Final Fantasy XIV is coming to television as a live-action series.
The show will focus on a new story set within the games world of Erozea, and feature the debut of Cid and chocobos in live action. The series will mix magic and technology, a recurring theme in the game series, and aim to bring to life many of the iconic content from Final Fantasy present and past — something FFXIV has been keen to do as well.
There is no release date or network announced for the series yet.
