Team up in the dungeon-crawling spinoff
When Square Enix launched Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles for the Gamecube, it signaled a return to Nintendo platforms for the company. The series eventually moved over to DS, 3DS, and Wii, leaving the original in the past.
Not enough people played the novel game, but with a Remastered Edition on the way, that might change. Ahead of Tokyo Game Show this week, Square Enix has revealed the launch date of the game: January 23, 2020.
The game will arrive on PS4, Switch, and mobile platforms, and feature new challenge dungeons, voices, costumes and online crossplay.
