The Professor is in the house, lock your doors America
During its “Level-5 Vision 2023” stream today, the developer/publisher revealed a few more details about its recently announced Professor Layton and the New World of Steam.
The game is set 1 year after Unwound Future, and will take place in the fictional town of Steam Bison, America during an alternate reality steampunk era. After Layton’s apprentice Luke leaves for the US, he begins to unravel a mystery and sends for help from the Professor. As the team solves the riddles, the town will evolve and change, adding a new layer to the traditional Layton gameplay. The puzzles will be designed by one of the premiere puzzle-development companies in Japan, QuizKnock.
There is currently no release date for the game, but it will be exclusive to Switch whenever it drops.
