Pokemon fighting game Pokken Tournament announced for arcades [With Trailer]

Announced during a livestream this morning, Pokemon fighting game Pokken Tournament is coming to arcades in 2015. As a further partnership between Nintendo and Bandai Namco (of which is already birthing Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS) the game will feature many of our favorite Pokemon characters in a one-on-one 3D fighting game.

The game had previously leaked (late last year) and was rumored to be known as Pokken Fighters.

Initial thoughts: This definitely looks like Tekken with Pokemon characters. Will it arrive for Wii U? Will it arrive for US? Will it be amiibo compatible? Will it — ah, hell, let’s just stay excited. FOREVER.
