Nintendo continues to bolster their eShop with more deals and initiatives. In a surprise move, the company announced Nindies@Home, an eShop promo bundle that offers downloadable demos of 9 upcoming games. Should someone download the bundle, they would instantly get 15% off of any of the games they end up purchasing through the eShop afterward, should they own the demo when the game releases. The promotion runs from now until 8:59 AM PST on June 22, which is Monday morning.
Games within the promotion include:
- Mutant Mudds Super Challenge
- Rive
- Soul Axiom
- Freedom Planet
- Typoman
- Forma.8
- Lovely Planet
- Extreme Exorcism
- Runbow
This almost Early Access-like promotion follows a recent Humble Nindie Bundle the company created in partnership with Humble. With a plethora of great games coming to the eShop, this seems like a legit way to get the games in front of fans and push the company’s download structure at the same time.
