With Pokémon in the middle of its giant resurgence, it’s natural that the films would be making a come back in popularity. Last year, Mewtwo Strikes Back was released in a CGI-updated version for Japanese cinemas, and now it’s making its way to the US.
Netflix has picked up the exclusive rights to air the film, which will arrive on February 27th, on its service. There’s no word if it’s a timed exclusivity or not, but since most of humanity has the streaming service it doesn’t really matter at this point anyways.
