For those of us still fighting off loans, Tom Nook can be a dreaded arch-rival that we fret bumping into. “Oh, you paid off your 50k? Your next bill is 2.2 MILLION.”
We get it, Tom. Island life ain’t cheap.
Artist Scott Wilkowski decided that the famed Animal Crossing tanooki needed some sort of ritualistic offering, and so he’s created a set of Nook-inspired figurines as tribute. Each of these “Nookowski” figures runs $65, and is made of a clear resin, capable of seeing the critter’s insides. He’s offering three colors: ClearBrownBrown, GreenGreen & Ghostkowski. Each figure stands on a colored base as well.
Orders can be placed through his site for each, or a collection of all three. No, you can’t use your bells to pay off this debt.
