The full Mushroom Kingdom in blocks
Nintendo and LEGO have just shown off 8 new expansion sets for LEGO Super Mario. The toy sets are themed around well known Mushroom Kingdom locations, like Bowser’s Castle, the haunted mansion, and even Toad’s treasure houses. The sets can be connected together for even bigger adventures.
The companies are also planning blind bag packs of enemies, so that collectors/players can add even more danger to the Mario playsets.
LEGO Super Mario is a series of playsets and blocks themed around the popular Nintendo property, with interactive features like LCD screens and audio queues that mimic what one might find in the games. The reason to keep playing includes collecting virtual coins that unlock features in the digital side of the Mario figure.
