Next Animal Crossing New Horizons update reveals swimming

Coming July 3

Swimming, diving, and more activities are coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons soon, Nintendo has revealed today.

The company has been slowly but steadily releasing updates and events for the game, such as characters and items, but this one should help push more activities. The trailer showcases jumping off of rocks, swimming, and diving for sea creatures like starfish. Pascal the Sea Otter will join and work with players to deliver whole new DIY recipes and themes.

The update arrives on July 3 as Wave 1, with Wave 2 featuring even more (unannounced) features arriving in August.
