The Xbox Summer Game Fest demo event brings E3 to the house

Well, it SORT OF brings E3 to your house.

I feel like I’ve written this a million times already. “Though there’s no E3 due to obvious reasons…” there will STILL be an Xbox event taking place. A demo-pacalypse event, one might say. During the week of July 21-27, demos will launch on the Xbox Marketplace for more than 60 upcoming (and possibly unannounced) games.

Microsoft revealed the news on their blog, reiterating that these are often based on games that are far from complete. So, you may fall in love with the visual quality of a puddle in Halo Infinite, but it may not make it to the final version. Snarf.

It’s worth noting that this coincides with the timeframe that Microsoft noted for their next Inside Xbox stream, detailing the upcoming slate of Xbox Series X games further. All bets are on this probably taking place now on July 20 or 21. Be ready?
