Well well well — we FINALLY have a big, old Nintendo Direct on the calendar to look forward to, don’t we? Great! Awesome. The company has left us waiting for well over a year, and has inadvertently allowed oodles and oodles of rumors to pop up in the meantime. While we don’t exactly know what the company will reveal, we’re sure that 50 minutes will bring quite a lot. The company has noted that the current Switch is only about half way through its life cycle, and with 80 Million+ consoles sold that means they’re still going to push for more games and experiences to keep momentum.
We’ve combed through the Internet, Twitter, reddit, 4chan, ClubHouse (whatever that is), carrier pigeon and more to find all of the crazy rumors out in the aether. Are some of these true? We don’t know. Are we going to see any of these in the Direct? We don’t know that either. Are we doing anything at all to verify any of these? Nope! Is this good SEO for our site? MOST DEFINITELY.

- Switch+/Switch Pro/Switch Advance/Super Switch: An advanced Switch console, which could include a better screen, better dock, better processing power, and more memory
- Undockable Switch: A Switch that is ONLY hooked up to televisions
- Kid-friendly Switch: A low-priced, digital only Switch console with a more rugged/droppable body. Think: Amazon’s Fire tablet for kids
- New Joy-Cons: A new gimmick in the Joy-Cons, hopefully without drift
- N64 Classic: Plug-n-play N64 mini with 16-20 games
- Game Boy Classic: A mini Game Boy loaded with games
- LABO 2.0: No idea what this could be, but it may be electrified?
- AR Nintendo: Some augmented reality using the Switch, like Mario Kart Live
- Health sensors: A way to more accurately track heart rates/activity while working out with the Switch
