James Gunn’s take on the DC villains sets a date
With The Snyder Cut tearing up the precious bandwidth we have right now, and Marvel’s films finally getting firm release dates, super hero movies are back. Up on deck after Black Widow this Summer will be The Suicide Squad, James Gunn’s sequel to the 2016 DCEU film of the almost exact same name. This latest take on the franchise stars a mostly new cast, but one that contains a good mix of humor and humor — and sharks. King Shark. Woohoo! Warner Bros and DC have dropped the first real trailer for the film, showing off the mayhem that looks like we may be happy to endure.
The Suicide Squad hits theaters and HBO Max on August 6th.
