Game will be a fresh take on Apex Legends for mobile platforms
Apex Legends is coming to your phone — well, a version of the game is. Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have revealed Apex Legends Mobile, a “new version of Apex Legends” designed specifically for mobile platforms. The game is being developed from the ground up to include touchscreen controls, so crossplay will not be making the trek from PC/console to phones.
Instead, the game will focus within its own sphere of competition, and include its own battle passes and more. It’s a separate game that will do its best to match what the full big sister brings to other platforms.
The game will actually land in a beta for a few countries later this year (India, Philippines) and will roll out to others later.
