The Magnificent Trufflepigs looks to find gold in gamers’ hearts

You win if you had “metal-detecting romance game set on an English farm” on your bingo card

AMC Games and THUNKD have announce The Magnificent Trufflepigs, a first-person metal detecting game. Set in an English countryside, the game will not only involve said detection of things but also include some romance — presumably to find the necessary metal objects for whatever anniversary you need to look up on Google. Oh, and you’ll be taking on the role of lead character Adam as he helps a woman named Beth find hidden treasures that will unlock the mysteries of her past.

Anyways, it’s from one of the lead designers behind Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture, Andrew Crawshaw, and will even include Luci Fish and Arthur Darvill as voice actors. The casually-paced Magnificent Trufflepigs launches on PC & Switch in Summer.
