Netflix makes sure gaming is a part of its animation domination
Netflix’s Castlevania series has been great to watch, and it’s wild to think that we’re already up to season 4 of the animated show. The project has done a great job at dramatizing the background of the popular Konami IP, weaving in the many aspects of the politics of Wallachia and the lives of citizens in that era. Season 5 is set to launch on Friday, May 13th, but fan(g)s can whet their appetite with the trailer above.
The streaming giant isn’t resting on its laurels or garlic, either, as it’s just debuted the first announcement/teaser trailer for the upcoming League of Legends show, Arcane. The series was teased in the past, but this is the first real confirmation of the animated show. Arcane takes places in Piltover and the underground region of Zuan. It’ll hit Netflix in the fall.
Finally, Amazon has renewed the ABSOLUTELY STELLAR animated series from Robert Kirkman, Invincible, for Seasons 2 & 3. The show stars a teenage hero named Mark who deals with a fast-paced superhero world while dealing with high school, and the dynamic with his Superman-like father. Steven Yeun voices the lead role. Definitely check it out if you haven’t yet.
