Microsoft’s Xbox Design Lab makes a return

Xbox brings back custom controller colorways

Xbox Design Lab, in which fans could create and purchase a unique controller colorway of their choice for the Xbox One, is back for the Xbox Series consoles. With the service nearly every details of an Xbox controller can be modified, from grips to buttons. Phrases and names can be etched into the front as well, for an extra personal touch.

The news was announced during a special “Xbox Showcase Extended Edition” this week that debuted further looks at products and games that couldn’t fit within the main portion of E3. There are 18 different colors for most of the parts.

Fans are already being creative with the service, modifying controllers to with PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch color schemes.
