The space epic arrives in October
Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya may be the stars of the upcoming Dune remake by Denis Villeneuve, and their performance in the biggest trailer yet certainly seems to indicate that, but the real anchor for the film may be the incredible ensemble that supports them. From Dave Batista to Oscar Isaac to Josh Brolin, the intertwining stories of the future “spice” trade looks like it will be told with an all-star line-up that could very well do it more than justice.
The plot, of a Duke who inherits a hostile desert planet full of the Melange “spice” that powers the known universe and the perils of all that comes with it, isn’t new these days, but it certainly gets a massive kick in the right direction through updated technology and cinema. Beautiful, wonderful cinema.
It’s back!
Well, cinema is back. Dune will be back in theaters on October 22.
