A whole lot of killing… of the Justice League
DC Comics and Warner Bros Games took the wraps off the story behind the Suicide Squad game that was first revealed last year. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will task the team with taking down the Justice League after what seems like a strange affliction has taken them to darker places. Hint: it’s Braniac.
The game will be very, very violent, as is the forte for the IP, and will focus on Harley Quinn, King Shark, Captain Boomerang, and Deadshot as they follow Amanda Waller’s orders to take down the former heroes.
The project is being developed by Rocksteady Games, and will serve as a sort of side-sequel to the Arkham Batman games that they’re so famous for.
The game is capitalizing on the recent popularity of August’s enjoyable “The Suicide Squad” film from James Gunn. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice league will land in 2022 on current gen consoles and PC.
