And the demigods began to fall
Throughout the last year, we’ve been getting snippets of the story of Elden Ring now and again, with a lite understanding of the world. The development team has rightfully shown off the gameplay more than anything, letting us whet our appetites for the on-screen action.
Now, with the game just a couple of months away, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco have released a beautifully dark new trailer that gives us a much clearer look at that backstory. As war erupts amongst the demigods in the world known as the Lands Between, the Elden Ring — the game’s take on the LOTR’s One True Ring — is broken, sending shockwaves throughout. The demigods begin to fall, leaving few survivors. With the throne barren and the broken ring up for grabs, there’s a new focus on gaining the ultimate power.

Elden Ring arrives on February 25, 2022 on PlayStation and Xbox platforms alongside PC.
