EA and Lucasfilm reveal three more Star Wars games on the way

Respawn to helm the final games under EA’s contract

If you were hoping for Titanfall 3, you may be out of luck for a while. The series’ developer, Respawn, is going to be tied up with several new projects set in another galaxy far, far away. Electronic Arts has revealed that the developer will be continuing work on Star Wars games, with three new titles in the works.

The first will be a sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order, so expect more of the same action/adventure that served well in the original. The second game will be a first person shooter, led by Game Director Peter Hirschmann. The third project, a strategy game, is being developed by Bit Reactor, a team made up of former XCOM devs, and produced by Respawn.

There’s no timeline for the releases of the games, or platforms, but expect to hear more soon as development ramps up.
