Gotham Knights officially releasing this year, for real, no joke(r)

No, they really mean it. It’s coming this year.

We heard you liked The Batman. Well, maybe now is the perfect time to remind you that there’s an actual Batman-ish game on the horizon — and it’s releasing this year!

That’s right: WB Games & DC Comics have announced that their upcoming Gotham Knights game, set in the aftermath of old Batty supposedly dying and leaving Gotham to fend for itself, is due to land in our gaming devices on October 25, 2022.

Gotham Knights follows the tradition of the Arkham games in its action (RPG lite) gameplay, but now gives players control of four characters instead of the usual one or two, swapping back and forth. A second player can hop in as well, without messing up the session. The plot involves the infamous Court of Owls, a sort of illuminati of Gotham’s wealthy and powerful, and their continued pulling of the strings of the city.

It looks this year’s Halloween Knights are finally set.
