While at Emerald City Comic-Con in Seattle I had the privilege to have a small chat with Ryan Hartman, the VP of Penny Arcade Inc. and the man who is putting together a PAX and today launching a Kickstarter for the grandfather of Live Play internet content, Acquisitions Inc.
AcqInc has been around for fifteen years, a lifetime in internet time, and basically launched the genre of live play tabletop gaming paving the way for Critical Role and The Adventure Zone. The franchise hasn’t been dormant — it’s been keeping a longtime tradition of hosting live shows at every PAX event — but now it’s time to return to its roots, and that’s where the Kickstarter comes in.
