Chicken jockeys, ghosts of Saquon, and shirtless coaches in LA’s Minecraft video

NFL schedule release day is always fun for sports fans, but recently teams have gone all in on video game and pop culture references. Back in 2020 my Detroit Lions created their schedule release in Animal Crossing, and now in 2025 the LA Chargers may have topped it.

The video, made in Minecraft and with help from the fan community there, shows the 18 weeks of the Chargers’ schedule, while also taking some incredible swipes at their opponents, the NFL media, and a whole lot more.

It’s fantastic.

I don’t care much for the Chargers, but at least Coach Harbaugh is there. I guess!
