Marvel vs Marvel vs Marvel vs Marvel in the new fighting game from Arc
Well what the heck?! A NEW Marvel fighting game??? That’s exactly what’s happening as today during its State of Play Sony announced that it’s working with Arc System Works and Marvel to bring a new fighter to market.
MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is a team based fighter being developed by the fighting game wizards behind Guilty Gear Strive. It features 4v4 tag team battles with each fighter sporting Normal, Special, and Unique attacks that are true to their character.
More interestingly, Arc was tasked with not just recreating Marvel’s heroes but putting their own specific spin on them. Star Lord, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, Storm, Ms Marvel, Spider-man and more all have HYPE new visual designs, but stick to that smooth movement and wild stages that make Arc’s games so visually stunning.
