Pokemon delivers a classic movie for weekend viewing
I never watched Pokemon when it was first on TV way back in the 90s & early 2000s. My anime viewing was mostly centered on sci-fi and fantasy, and with the games never clicking with me the show based on them followed suit.
But now that I DO keep track of some Pokemon stuff I make it a point to catch the shows and films when I have spare time now and again. Thankfully The Pokemon Company is seemingly in my same time loop, as they’ve been airing episodes and movies regularly on thair YouTube channels. The latest is Pokémon the Movie 2000, available to watch in the player below. The original show was hitting its initial stride and making waves, and the 2000 movie was highly regarded at the time.
So, you can now watch it at your leisure as well, at least for the time being. Pokemon has been rotating the films on and off, so there’s no telling how long this will be available to watch — but it is now. So, watch it!
