Bubsy 4D is for the sickos

Happy Gamescom week! Well, it WOULD be happy if we had some sort of nostalgia to keep us moving and… Wait. What’s that?

Bubsy has a new game?

Bubsy the Bobcat? In 2025?

I guess so!

ATARI and developer Fabraz have announced Bubsy 4D, the sequel to 1996’s Bubsy 3D. Even though there have been a couple Bubsy games in the last 8 years, no one remembers (or wants to remember) them right now. Instead, the series is going back to the OG days of mascot platformers, with the cat jumping and running and doing things across 3 planets and 15 levels.

The game will have fully-voiced cutscenes, so prepare to REALLY LOVE hearing that nostalgia in your dreams. Or nightmares? Who knows.

BUBSY 4D launches on everything “soon”.
