Fortune favors those of us who have a Switch 2
During its latest Direct, Nintendo has announced Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, the next game in the long-running strategy RPG franchise. The company has been putting in the work to get Fire Emblem to become A THING over the years, ever since the wonderful Awakening, and has been successful transitioning into 3D.
In this latest FE, a sort of gladiatorial “Heroic Games” is challenged by different factions, and its our job as the hero to (likely) choose a side and see how our choices and battles unfold across a massive political plot.
We don’t know much beyond that, sadly, only that it’s coming exclusively to the Switch 2 in 2026.
