Hi Geoff! Nice new duds!
It’s baaaaaack! Well, it WILL be back, as Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest has announced its 2026 showcase. The big Summer showcase will take place on Friday June 5, 2026 at 2PM PT/5PM ET/9PM GMT. We know, it’s only October, but these things gotta get booked well ahead of time now, because otherwise you may be without a venue.
Oh, speaking of that!
The showcase will be moving from the YouTube Theater across town to the Dolby Theatre. Speaking from experience, leaving the YouTube Theater was, uh, NOT FUN, so a shift to a location that has better access to street entry is going to be a net positive. The Dolby is the home of the Academy Awards, among other events, so it may line up perfectly for the show.
Tickets are set to go on sale “soon” (not THAT soon) and more info will arrive next year.
Summer Game Fest is usually followed by the industry-only Play Days event, where Press and Media can go hands-on with products announced at the show and prepped for the months and years.
