Marvel fanatics, get ready to brawl
Marvel Cosmic Invasion, the upcoming brawler from Tribute Games and Dotemu, is releasing soon, and to prepare us the developer has just dropped the game’s opening cinematic. The video features hand-drawn animation depicting the game’s 15 heroes and many of its villains, including the main antagonist Annihilus which, in my honest opinion, doesn’t get enough respect as a truly nasty dude.
To show that the dev team is in the comic magic just as much as we the fans, they took a trip to their favorite comic shop and documented the adventure looking at the comics that inspired the many stories woven into the game.
Tribute has done great work in the genre, with TMNT Shredder’s Revenge being one of our recent favorites, so fans should have confidence that they’ll treat the characters, their powers and their stories with respect.
RESPECT. Just like ya’ll should give Annihilus.
