Fly over the galactic hump day with Nintendo’s next movie
Nintendo has announced a Direct for later this week to finally give us the first trailer for its upcoming Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
The company posted the following:
“Join us on Wednesday, Nov 12, at 6am PT for the Nintendo Direct featuring the world premiere of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie official trailer. Please note that no game information will be included in this presentation.”
We had been awaiting the trailer since the movie’s title and content were first announced back at the company’s big September Direct, with rumors suggesting it would be pinned in front of Wicked: For Good, which arrives in theaters in just 2 weeks. We already know Yoshi is in it, thanks to all the teases and accidental advertising going out early (thanks, Old Spice), but we’re possibly most interested to know who will be playing the role of Rosalina, the “Watcher of the Stars” that helps Mario defeat Bowser.
