At this point, it’s just Grand Thrift Auto VI
Earlier this week news broke that Rockstar Games had allegedly laid off dozens of employees that were a part of the developer’s union organizing initiative. BOO! BOO THIS COMPANY! BOO!
The news spread like wildfire, and with the game’s upcoming delayed release in May 2026 it was suddenly casting a dark shadow.
No worries… because Take Two has decided to delay Grand Theft Auto VI yet again!
The company has stated that this time, FOR REALSIES, the game will release in November 2026. FOR REAL! THEY PROMISE!
With attention quickly shifting to the delay announcement Rockstar is out of union-busting sights — or is it?
No, it’s not. And in fact it’s worse!
Rockstar iniutiually claimed that the employees were let go because they were divulging company secrets, but a new alleged account states that they were actually released due to Discord posts in their Union-specific Discord, which was only used for organizing.
Whoops! Oh no!
Anyhoo, don’t hold your breath that GTA6 will release in November, but DO hold Rockstar’s feet to the fire if these allegations are true.
