An exfishtential crisis awaits us
Every so often we get a weird combination or take on a game genre that comes out of left field. A game that has no right being what it is, because we don’t exactly know what it is. A game that you have expectations for based on title alone, only to have those exopectations shattered.
A game about fishing!
That’s not really what About Fishing is, though!
It’s Twin Peaks with reels, and not the Instagram kind. It’s Fargo with more rock bass.
In About Fishing we go about our day catching fish in a bygone graphical era, trading them, upgrading our gear, going for the best pull. Except we’re in a strange town where fishing helps us solve clues as to what’s truly happening.
Okay, it’s about fishing, but it’s also so much more. It’s ABOUT FISHING, from developer The Water Museum, and it’s coming to PS5 and Steam at some point in the future.
