Finally a Christmas present worth wishing for
We were fans of the original CRKD Nitro Deck for the OG Switch. It made our OLED feel a whole lot better, a little more ergonomic, and definitely sturdier. It even had some great secret features, like functioning as a separate controller and dock. It was great!
But it doesn’t work with the Switch 2, Nintendo’s newest platform.
And so, CRKD decided to develop one for the latest console and have now fully revealed it, and it, too has some pretty neat features.
Here’s what’s cooking with the CRKD Nitro Deck 2:
- CaptiStick technology to reduce stick drift by using capacitor-based sticks that are customizable (in case we want more tension in specific directions, edges, etc)
- Programmable Back Buttons
- L2 and R2 secondary shoulder buttons are programmable
- Updated ergonomic design
- New metal kickstand
- Compatible with Switch 2 and even the original Switch and Switch OLED, and wirelessly or wired with PC and mobile
- Adjustable everything, from rumble to dead zones to turbo
The new CRKD Nitro Deck 2 is available to preorder for $99 and launches in the new year, and will turn our Switches into heavy duty consoles once again.
