Space mysteries are all the rage, in space!
At tonight’s Game Awards, Kepler Interactive and Frictional Games revealed their next project, ONTOS. For the uninitiated, Frictional Games is the team behind SOMA, and ONTOS is being billed as a sort of spiritual sequel to it.
The game is a first person experience in which players will utilize skills and ideas that allow puzzles and obstacles to be resolved in any way necessary — there’s “no one way to solve a problem” in other words.
ONTOS will release in 2026 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
