Wars are not the only thing we can do in the stars, we can also race!
The best part of Episode One was the pod racing (sorry J.J., it’s true) and we even enjoyed the direct Racer game that launched on the N64. But we’ve been waiting since then for a new one. It’s been so long! There have been some indies that have captured our pod racing attention in the meantime, but they’re not exactly Star Wars.
The FORCE has heard us, and we’re now being gifted with a new racing game experience. While not exactly pod racing per se, Star Wars: Galactic Racer is putting the galaxy back onto the levitation/tracks as players will take on the Galactic League, and unsanctioned racing league, in both a campaign and multiplayer races.
The game arrives in 2026 for Xbox, PlayStation and PC.
