Partying isn’t a sprint, it’s a MARATHON. That’s why we’re getting the annual ULTIMATE PAX EAST PARTY LIST up and running for 2026!

First and foremost: SUPPORT YOUR FELLOW GAMERS AND ATTENDEES. Look out, portect, take care of, and spread the love. It’s a crazy world out there, so it’s up to us as gamers to maintain our compassion and support each other. If you see something, SAY something.

This year PAX East is taking place from March 26-29, 2026 with some events starting up the few days before and ending the few days after — be ready for a great time to hang out with your friends!

Once again we have THE LIST of events taking place in and around the show, from after-parties to concerts to meetups and more. Want to find something to do when you’re done on the show floor? Want to mingle with some great people and hear great music? This is where to find it all! We’re constantly curating our list, so come back often!

  • Info: The Pokecrawl is a themed fundraising pub crawl! Back again for another night of fundraising, the Pokecrawl is partnering up with Able Gamers in fundraising for their cause! 
  • Join us in Boston alongside PAX East Thursday night of the convention, dress up or just come as yourself. Our volunteers will be auctioning and selling their wares to be the team that raises the most for charity!  So choose your team trainer and join us in two weeks for another night of shenanigans and raising money for a good cause! If that’s the case, you’ll *also* like VGM Collective, an jazz fusion ensemble that plays some of the best music from the best late-20th century Japanese video game composers. We’re talking Junichi Masuda (Pokemon), we’re talking Jun Ishikawa (Kirby), we’re talking Manami Matsumae (Mega Man). Joining VGM Collective on stage will be the supremely talented Button Masher, a pianist/synthesizer-er who you may have come across on Youtube if you have ever searched “Chiptune” or “Good Video Game Music Covers” or “Oh, God, the world is so complex and I have so much responsibility and sometimes it’s hard to get out of bed and I just want something to make me feel like I can do it but also kind of makes me feel like a kid again.” Ya know, things like that.

  • Info: For the first time ever, indie pop sensation mxmtoon will be bringing her heartfelt lyrics to the stage this PAX East. You may know her from social media presence on Tiktok or Youtube, or maybe you even caught her side quest in Dave the Diver. Even if you are unfamiliar with her game, rest assured, she will bring the vibes and the feels to a show you won’t want to miss. Opening for mxmtoon will be Sixth Station Piano Trio from San Francisco, California. Sixth Station Piano Trio plays an expansive variety of music ranging from Western classical music, film scores, video game music, and pop.

  • Info: We’re back with Audiokinetic at Harpoon Brewery! In town for Boston Gamedev Week/PAX East? Just a short walk from the expo hall, join Game Audio Boston and Audiokinetic for a chill afternoon with game audio friends. There will be talks! There will be (free) food! There will be (paid) beer!  Whether You’re enjoying a gaming-themed cocktail, destroying the crowd in a hilarious show of Jackbox prowess, or basking in the energy of your fellow geeks and friends, You’re guaranteed to have a good time!

  • Info: We’re back for year four and we’re leveling up once again. After a full day at PAX East, keep the energy going with a night built for gamers, creators, and community. We’ll have swag and giveaways from Twitch and Monster Energy, plus live sets from returning favorites DJ Nyybeats and Maxrhyms bringing the soundtrack to the celebration. The Cookie Brigade will be there spreading the love (and cookies). More info and guests TBD — including game demos and additional participating companies to be announced soon.
