The dinosaur joins the team of heroes in Nintendo’s upcoming film
During today’s Nintendo Direct focused on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Nintendo formally revealed that Yoshi was indeed making his way to the movie. Teased at the end of the first film, and even glimpsed in its fields, Yoshi became a crucial part of the Super Mario universe since being introduced in Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo.

The film arrives April 1, 2026 exclusively in theaters.
