Stars come together to kick off Pokemon’s 30th anniversary
What’s your favorite? That’s the question that The Pokemon Company asks in their VERY EXPENSIVE Super Bowl commercial. Featuring several stars across music, TV and sports, from Trevor Noah to Lady Gaga to Charles LeClerc to Jisoo and more, the video shows the famous Pokemon fans talking about their favorite pocket monsters.
The video kicks off the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations, and introduces the associated website, 30.pokemon.com
While not officially announced (yet), an anniversary Pokemon Direct is expected later this month for Pokemon Day on February 27th which could reveal the anticipated Gen 10 of the series. The company also announced special Pokemon Day Out and Pokemon Night Out events will take place around the world to bring fans together. Day Out will be family-friendly experiences while Night Out will gear towards us Olds who grew up with Pokemon since the early days.
