Is it TEAM ME or TEMU in the God of War 2018 adaptation?
Uh. Hmm. HM.
I don’t know what to think about this very first image from Amazon for their Prime-based God of War TV series. There’s a lot going on here, and yet not that much. But also too much.
Is there ever such a thing as being TOO FAITHFUL to the source material? I get that this is just meant to be a promotional image, but everything looks almost cosplay-level of overdone. Kratos, the sad divorced dad teaching his son how to aim at the can on the top of the fence post, is posing as if he’s finally got his son for the weekend and doesn’t know what to do with him.
Which, I guess, is the gist of God of War these days anyways?
And, will we even discuss everything that took place in the Greek world that actually turned Kratos into this, or just gloss over it and completely Go Norse?
The God of War show is due sometime in the future on Amazon Prime.
