Issa Rae and Luis Guzman join the cast for the star-spanning movie
I’d never have thought that the ensemble cast choices for the Super Mario Galaxy movie could get any more wild but here we are, in a world where DONALD GLOVER is Yoshi, ISSA RAE is Honey Queen and LUIS GUZMAN is Wart.
Just insanity.
We found out that information in a just-aired Nintendo Direct focused on the Super Mario Galaxy Movie, where the final trailer was also revealed. In it we see locations and characters from across the Mario timeline, with Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto and Illumination’s Chris Meledandri dropping some hints that we may be seeing even more Mario — and maybe Nintendo? — characters in the film.
