GRIDbeat! sets out with a simple goal: what if Crypt of the Necrodancer was Hackers and Tron? And, well, developers Ridiculous Games pretty much nail it.
GRIDBeat! is a rhythm game that blitzes us with comfortable nostalgia. It has a great soundtrack, great visuals and a gameplay loop that’s extremely familiar yet extremely welcome to those of us who may have played other games in the genre. We’re literally hitting beats, on a grid, and that feels great.
