Get ready, because we’re about to get PARANORMAL up in here
I’ve never finished a Persona game. Ever. I don’t think I can see myself pouring hundreds of hours into another RPG series when I’m already playing five more. But, SEGA and ATLUS don’t care about my feelings or my time, because they’ve just announced a release date for Persona 4 Revival and officially announced Persona 6.
First, Persona 4 Revival is landing on Xbox, PC and PlayStation on February 18, 2027. The game is an updated take on the extremely popular original that graced the PlayStation 2 in 2008, which eventually spawned an even more beloved iteration known as Persona 4 Golden on the Vita in 2012. The game focuses on students and characters in the fictional Inaba as a string of bizarre murders sets in, linked to a world inside TV sets. Sick.
Persona 4 Revival should hopefully whet the appetite of series fans for a while as Atlus has finally revealed the next game in the series, Persona 6. And we say a while because we have no idea when it will launch, though 2027 is probably going to be highly unlikely. This latest game continues the mysterious dark (and somehow lite-hearted?) tradition of the series.
Either way, you may want to clear a few hundred hours out of your schedules over the next few years.
