Preorders for the biggest game ever will begin tonight
Grand Theft Auto VI, or lovingly known as GTA VI and GTA 6, written strictly for our SEO purposes, has its preorders going up tonight at midnight at local times, Take Two and Rockstar have announced.

For those who have been waiting for what seems like decades (it’s been that long at least) the game will be available to pre purchase soon. And we now know the price: $79.99 for the standard edition and $99.99 for the Ultimate Edition. The UE will bring a ton of extras to the game, including vehicles, clothing, hairstyles and more.
All preorders will get a special Vice City themed bonus pack to capture some of the styles of the 80s era of the fictional city that’s totally based on Miami.
Rockstar is also focusing on the game being a “single player experience” with no mention of any new online component, though it IS offering a free month of GTA+ for the existing GTA Online depending on the edition purchased.
The game will also NOT be a physical copy, at least at launch. In the boxes at retail will be a download code, not a disc. Part of the reason could be for Take Two to prevent spoilers in case of early or accidental acquisitions of the game, or it could be to save a little bit of money and not have to give Sony a cut for a Blu-ray. It could also be to help give Rockstar more time to finish the game so that they don’t have to press out a physical copy — pieces of paper are pretty cheap and fast. Or it could be because the newer versions of the Xbox Series and the PS5 are digital only, so not selling to those people would be a miss. Or, it could just be that Rockstar are going to get people to double dip later when they do eventually decide on releasing a physical version.
Whatever the case, the game launches on November 19 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series with preloads beginning on November 12.
