Things are off, but we’re about to make them off-er
Fan favorite game developer Ikumi Nakamura is back with her new studio Unseen, revealing their first game Kemuri during sony’s PlayStation State of Play– and it looks like an intense action experience.
The game drops players in Kemuri City, a place that “sits between our world and the other,” where Yokai and spirits mix into our lives whether we want them to or not.
As a yokai hunter its up to us to find and form bonds with Yokai, inheriting powers and abilities, as we fight off supernatural anomalies. Something called the “Foxwindow” is the center of the experience, as when people peer through the spaces betwene their fingers they’re transported into the yokai world itself. The game will include single and multiplayer modes when it launches in 2027.
