There’s a Cuphead sequel and a Master System game in the works

There are TWO new Cuphead projects in the works. TWO!

Yes, Studio MDHR announced at Summer Game Fest that a full Cuphead sequel is on the way. That should definitely satiate some of us sickos who love platforming that’s both brutal and beautiful. Brutifal? Beautal? Maybe one of those.

Maybe more exciting for an OLD like me, though, is that the developers also announced Mighty Cuphead Adventure is a thing. This new 8-bit game is being developed in Assembly Language for the Sega Master System, meaning that it’ll be true to form to games on that console. While it’s going to be available for modern platforms it’ll ALSO be sold on a Sega Master System cart for the truest of true sickos.

The sickos are winning. They’re getting the Cuphead goods!

No release dates or specific platforms were noted for either project.
